Dancing in a time of Isolation

Hello fellow dancers/students,

Thank you for your patience and support so far in this COVID-19 situation.

For now we've had to suspend all of our in person services, like dances and classes. We're looking forward to getting back to those when it's safe, but the best thing we can do for our community at the moment is help keep each other safe.

That doesn't mean we have to stop dancing though! We've already got some classes happening every week on our YouTube page, and we're constantly rolling out new things. To stay up to date, we recommend subscribing to us your favorite social media outlets like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok (@lindyhopping).

We’ve had a lot of folks ask how they can help out during this difficult time for the foundation. If you feel like you have some finances to spare, we would greatly appreciate your support at syncopationfoundation.org/donate.

Our teachers are still available for online private classes as well, and I’m happy to set up a video feedback arrangement if that works better for anyone.

In the meantime, keep dancing, keep appreciating good jazz, take care of each other, stay healthy, and keep in touch. We’re still here for the community and we’ll be doing what we can to continue to provide limited services throughout this difficult time.

Wash your hands, and I’ll see you on a dance floor soon,

Ben White
